Iran Charter- The Deputy Coordinator of Economic Affairs of Mazandaran Governorate announced the construction of a tourist complex with a 15 trillion investment in Kalardasht. The complex will include a cable car, hotel, and recreational facilities, and it will be implemented in the Kalardasht region. Hasan Khairianpour stated that economic growth results from increased and optimized investment, adding, ‘If we need economic growth, we must pay special attention to tourism. Therefore, the operational plan for economic growth in the province has been prepared and communicated.’ He added that one of the chapters of the seventh development plan is dedicated to economic growth and stated, ‘For economic growth, we need to enhance efficiency and develop investment in various sectors.’ Khairianpour emphasized Mazandaran’s significant role in agricultural production, mentioning that 7.5 million tons of agricultural products are produced annually in the province, which, in addition to meeting the country’s and province’s needs, are export-oriented. He noted that this year, 961,000 tons of goods were exported from the province’s customs to target countries, valued at 173 million dollars, marking a 25% increase in weight and a 14% increase in value. The Deputy Governor of Mazandaran identified the activation of economic diplomacy and transit enhancement as important state programs. He referred to the harvesting and export of tangerines and stated, ‘Harvesting of citrus fruits begins in mid-November.’ Khairianpour also stated, ‘The kiwi harvest started in October, and a substantial portion of the country’s kiwi is produced in Mazandaran province.’ Khairianpour, referencing the role of investment in economic transformation, said, ‘A tourist complex with a 15 trillion investment will be built in Kalardasht, not only aiding regional tourism development but also creating significant employment opportunities.’ He added, ‘This complex will feature a cable car, hotel, and tourist facilities crucial for attracting domestic and foreign tourists.’ He further emphasized that investing in this area can significantly increase provincial revenues and improve economic conditions.
