Salehi Amiri: Building an International Hotel to Boost Mazandaran’s Economy

Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri, Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts, stated on Thursday during a visit to Araz Hotel in Nowshahr that the development of five-star hotels meeting international standards, such as Iran Charter, plays a significant role in attracting investors and increasing investment in the region.

He added that accommodations like Araz Hotel Nowshahr, with the ability to host national and international conferences, create a suitable environment for investors, ultimately leading to the economic prosperity of Mazandaran province.

Salehi Amiri also noted that the construction of this hotel has so far cost approximately $120 million, with an additional investment of $20 million needed for its final completion. The project is currently being built with a capacity of 551 rooms and suites, spread over 30 floors, and is expected to be operational by the Persian New Year (Norouz) next year, with the ability to accommodate at least 1,000 guests, which will positively impact the region’s economy.
